Julie Briggs

Julie Briggs was born in Australia and moved to Scotland in 1971. She trained as a classical violinist and played with the Scottish National Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
She took up painting when her children had grown up and has been painting enthusiastically ever since. She paints in oils and gains her inspiration from the Sottish Landscape and from around her home on Loch Lomond. She paints and travels regularly with a group of artists based in Stirlingshire.She has exhibited in Glasgow, Central Scotland and London and her work is in private collections around Scotland.
