CAROLINE LEES
Caroline studied at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art in Washington DC and attended master classes in painting and drawing at The Slade School of Art in London. She has been an en plein air painter for most of her life, travelling in the Middle East, Arctic, India and Myanmar. She works in oils, watercolours and egg tempera; Studied gilding & Icon techniques in Russia, Sinai and the Prince’s Schools.

She has exhibited at the RA in 1997, 1998, 2005, 2011.
In 2011 she won the Sunday Telegraph Watercolour Competition.
In 2018 she won the Agnes Reeve Memorial prize for best painting of London at the CAS Society (w/c).
