For Rose, the sense of touch is as important as the sense of sight, so a sculpture will reveal its secrets when examined with the hands as well as eyes. Rose studied at the Courtauld Institute, London and now works in bronze and in exotic and colourful stone, sourced from all over the world, creating sensuous sculptures based on the human form. She has exhibited widely in the UK, as well as in Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, with many public commissions. She won the prestigious Humphreys Prize at the ING Discerning Eye exhibition one year in London.
